Front Row Pizza provides great food and atmosphere for families and visitors alike. Stop in and order a pizza, a calzone, fried seafood, salads, hot and cold subs, roast beef sandwich, chicken parmigiana, steak tips or spaghetti and meat balls. The expansive menu offers something for everyone, including family specials. They recently updated and expanded their bar area to include a full bar, several flat screen TV's, high top tables and a large eat in dining room. |
At least one of the two veteran and genial owners are right there every day/every hour. They are a transplanted North End Boston operation with surprisingly good food.
Basics: Subs, salads, pasta and pizza from an Italian-style kitchen that is a cut above the rest. Seating for 100 or so in ample booths and a few tables, most with a view of sports TV. Takeout is big.
Pizzas are notable for scratch-made-on-the-premises
dough. Its long rise time puts a little flavor and sweetness in the final baked
pie. You'll find only a couple of embellishments of the sub shop repertory --
excellent seafood and very good steak tips being tops. Salads and dressings are
unremarkable but large. Fries and rings are average. A few bottled and draft
beers, wine from the box, standard cocktails.
WIth adjoining full-service
bar and seating area, featuring brilliant LCD video monitors like wallpaper
tuned to top sports events, there's plenty to watch along with a decent martini
or two.
